The flat rudder bonito (scientific name: Auxis rochei), also known as the round rudder bonito, is a marine fish belonging to the mackerel family. This fish is found in tropical and temperate waters around the world, and is especially common in the open waters of the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans.

Characterization:

The back is darker in color, usually bluish black or dark blue, while the belly is brighter, appearing silvery white.
